I think most people are smart enough to understand that every case is different. While there are extremes on all sides (MeToo has gone too far vs. kill all men now!) most people can look at a situation objectively.

I don't know if a more common and consistent belief would fix it. It sure would be harder to show how wrong religion is without that, but the most important complaints I have in religion are elsewhere. Here are a few:

What about St. Francis of Assisi hearing God?s voice? What about George Fox, the founder of the Quaker Friends? What about the inordinate role Quaker Friends have played in the History of Social Movements, beginning with the anti-slavery movement in the UK and the US, and the 1950s Nuclear protest boats that inspired Greenpeace and one of its Quaker founders?

You think they targeted the bakery in question on purpose because they knew he wouldn't serve them?
